Top 10 reasons to wear a Fudoon

Fudoon, why do we love it?

Autumn is clearly here, but I guess you've noticed? Even if we are confined, autumn sends us plenty of signs to make sure we don't get confused: it smells like rain, the leaves are changing colour and starting to fall, revealing branches and covering the pavements, the stalls are full of pumpkins, Objectif Top Chef has started, the Internet is already inviting us to start our Christmas presents (we're not ready for that either, are you?), we've already heard "All i want for Christmas" (we're not ready for that either, but are we ever?)... we're not sure if it's already cold enough to get out the winter coats, maybe warm enough for half-season jackets. We're fine for lunch outside when there's a ray of sunshine, but we're cold as soon as the clouds veil the sky. In short, it's autumn.

This year, we want clothes that bring us some HAPPINESS! It's true, it's not the time to redo your wardrobe (to show it to whom?) but that's no reason to dress only in leggings, which are certainly comfortable but worn out and full of holes following the confinement - episode 1.

So, here are the TOP 10 reasons to wear a Fudoon (we wanted to write a TOP 50, but we figured that even if you're teleworking, you're supposed to go back to work afterwards).

#1 - A hood for the better:

Fudoon is a hoodie, but better. It’s also a puffer jacket, but better too. Fudoon a hooded collar, but better. Fudoon warm, Fudoon is lightweight; it replaces your scarf and even your umbrella because it repels rain thanks to its water-repellent treatment. You’ll see—soon you won’t be able to live without it, and your Fudoon will go everywhere Fudoon #fudoonaddict

#2 - A cocoon of warmth and lightness:

We designed Fudoon by keeping the best of the down jacket and mini-doudoune and removing the least useful: the result is a large hood as comfortable as a comforter, which covers the parts of the body most sensitive to temperature variations: throat, chest, internal organs, neck, nape of the neck and upper back to the shoulder blades, and of course the head.

#3 - A rain cover:

Thanks to its water-repellent treatment, the Fudoon repels rainwater and keeps you dry. No more forgotten umbrellas and wet hair. No more hoodless coats, jackets and trenches, now give them a water-repellenthood and always be ready for the rain! A water-repellent, warm, light and stylish pull-on hood, how do you like that as a maxi combo?

#4 - A reversible, two-tone hood:

Fudoon is 2 in 1 (like the shampoo): 2 sides, 2 colours, front and back. Play with your looks and change sides depending on your mood and outfit of the day. Give our outfits a boost with the pretty colours of your Fudoon. Front or back, choose and turn your water-repellent hooded snood in one go thanks to the reversible zip fastening of the YKK brand.

So, are you moreinto black/camel,navy/lilac,burgundy/orange, orkhaki/yellow? Or all theFudoon colorsFudoon once.

#5 - A light, nomadic cocoon :

Fudoon has been designed to make your life easier, everywhere and all the time: thanks to its matching cover, putting it on, taking it off, putting it away, putting it back on, it's easy... Whatever the weather... Rain, sun, clouds, windstorm, storm, heatstroke, coldstroke, subway, overheated meeting room, air-conditioned train or airport, bike or scooter ride... Be ready to draw and sheath your water-repellent Fudoon at the slightest drop of rain or gust of wind. It's so easy, you don't even have to take off your top or get off your bike!

#6 - 1 Fudoon, 1000 ways to wear it :

And yes, let your imagination run wild with your Fudoon  it can be a hood, a collar, a bib, or a neck warmer— you can wear your hood in so many ways: over a coat, under a jacket, under a trench coat (you know that ridiculous raincoat designed without a hood), over a chunky sweater, over a T-shirt after yoga, under a cycling windbreaker, over your pajamas to run an errand (we won’t judge)… Outdoors, indoors, everywhere and all the time—a thousand ways and a thousand reasons to put on your hood! The hardest part is taking it off afterward (but except for showering, we never take it off)

#7 - Upcycle your coats:

We know you, you have coats, jackets, overcoats that you don't wear anymore, abandoned at the bottom of your dressing room (wardrobe, trunk, under the bed...): no hood, not warm enough, not covering enough, not waterproof, too low cut, not comfortable, not water-repellent, not cocooning enough... Give them a new life: upcycle that too classic coat, give that flabby trench coat a boost, modernise that perfecto with the broken zip, revitalise that grandma's fake fur, vitaminise that worn-out denim jacket, revive that dreary pea jacket...

#8 - Animals sleep soundly with Fudoon :

No down, no feathers in the padding of our hooded snood. The Fudoon's duvet-like maxi comfort is achieved through quilting that doesn't touch geese, ducks, or any other animal or bird. Test our maxi comfort padding maxi cocoon...

#9 - OEKO-TEX® standard 100 certified material:

The fabrics and padding are OEKO-TEX® standard 100 certified, which means that the Fudoon has been reliably tested for harmful substances. And because we wanted to create the new pull-on hood with quality finishes, we chose a top quality YKK reversible zip.

#10 - A new product:

The Fudoon hood is Fudoon anything you've ever seen! Warmer than a mini-down jacket, less bulky than a big down jacket, more portable than a duvet—with its cozy cocoon hood, Fudoon just another jacket or coat: it’s the piece you’ve been missing that will energize (and revolutionize?) your entire wardrobe. With a superpower—that of being innovative: “What on earth are you wearing? I’ve never seen anything like it! What’s it called? Excuse me, ma’am, what is that you’re wearing? Can I try it on? Can I borrow your Fudoon a little cold…” Perfect for a unique and originalgift, don’t you think?

#11 - A duo of young designers :

Oops, we had a "Top 10" list of great reasons to buy or give a Fudoon there’s one more little reason we forgot to include… It’s us, Marguerite and Capucine, the co-founders of the Fudoon brand, creators of the Fudoon hood. One of us is always cold and wrapped up in scarves (or in her old mini puffer jacket that left a lot to be desired in terms of style), while the other is stylish on her bike but always gets soaked by the rain. We were tired of losing our umbrellas, arriving at the office with wet hair, and looking like a big cat that got caught in the rain.

We've probably forgotten lots of good reasons for Fudooner, and then we had to choose... We could have told you that the Fudoon hood is easily machine washable, or how we invented the word Fudoon, or that you can find look inspirations on our Instagram account @fudoon.fudoon... but we hope we've told you the essentials.
